Engaged by Property Investment Group, Investa, A.G, Coombs completed Boiler Replacement works located in the Plant Room on level 3 of 567 Collins St.
The existing boiler was originally installed in September 2014 and was showing signs of wear and a reduction in overall reliability and performance.
As a result, A.G. Coombs Advisory were engaged to work closely with Investa and client-side CBRE to produce a Scope of Works for the replacement of the equipment.
A.G. Coombs Advisory started by submitting a detailed Scope of Works for the installation of two (2) condensing water heaters and one (1) modular heater condensing bank to replace the existing heating plant.
Due to the nature of the work and the timing required, CBRE requested to negotiate the construction with A.G. Coombs Projects. An ‘end-to-end’ solution was requested by both CBRE and Investa which A.G. Coombs Advisory and Projects were able to deliver.
Central to the success of this project, A.G. Coombs engaged with the Investa and CBRE to carefully plan the changeover of this critical infrastructure without losing the ability to provide hot water to various systems throughout the building.
The A.G. Coombs Projects team produced a detailed plan for the implementation of the plant changeover and executed that plan without disruption to the building’s operations.
Additional works required as part of the project scope included in the following works:
