A.G. Coombs worked with ISPT to optimise energy performance across their building portfolio, deploying A.G. Coombs Building Energy Optimisation Program (BEOP) – a sophisticated program of building systems tuning and ongoing energy efficiency maintenance strategies.
BEOP typically results in between a 0.5 and 1 NABERS Energy Star improvements in retained ongoing building energy efficiency, and proved to be a cost-effective solution, with investment pay back typically in the order 12 to 18 months.
Having conducted an initial audit and detailed review of the building operations at 100 Pacific Highway, A.G. Coombs proposed and implemented a program of initiatives that considered the building dynamics as a whole. The program had a specific focus on control strategies and the optimisation of the existing systems, including air conditioning, lighting and power systems.
As such, 100 Pacific Highway was tuned to best match the requirements of its occupants whilst helping to minimise annual energy consumption.
In addition, A.G. Coombs was appointed to provide an integrated HVAC maintenance solution, which resulted in further rating improvements and improved building performance. Moving forward, an ongoing strategy of seasonal tuning and energy efficiency focused maintenance will ensure the building rating is retained, and also ensuring optimal energy efficiency for the tenant.
