Sydney CBD’s 477 Pitt Street is one of ten sites that will be recognised for its significant energy efficiency achievements at the inaugural Energy Productivity in Action event at the Sydney Opera House on June 18.
Organised by the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage, the event showcases real world examples of organisations that have achieved results from greater energy efficiency.
Owned by ISPT, 477 Pitt Street is an A-grade, 30-storey, commercial office NABERS rated building, currently performing at 5.5 Stars.
A.G. Coombs Advisory provided ISPT with detailed engineering advice and commissioning support for the building, from which a staged program of upgrade works was implemented under the guidance of ISPT and project managed by the property manager, Knight Frank. A.G. Coombs’ building optimisation specialists were involved in the development of enhanced operational strategies for the energy consuming systems in the building. Together, the team achieved a reduction of base building electricity usage by approximately 40% and assisted with the achievement of the building’s 5 Star NABERS Base Building Energy rating.
A.G. Coombs is very pleased to have contributed to this achievement, and congratulates the ISPT and Knight Frank team on this recognition.
