In targeting a leading sustainability rating for the facility, the builders Lendlease Building engaged A.G. Coombs Advisory as Independent Commissioning Agent to ensure the successful delivery of this critical outcome.
The role included providing design review services, developed commissioning plans, supported commissioning management, and verified the building engineering services for project completion, which included 12 months of building tuning, to assist with achieving the building’s 5 Star Green Star As Built and 5 Star NABERS Energy targets.
The stringent staged handover schedule and the tenant’s high level security requirements added to the complexity of delivering and assuring the building’s technical sustainability features, which included:
