Partnering for Progress – Putting reconciliation into practice

June 3, 2026

As National Reconciliation Week 2026 begins, A.G. Coombs is proud to share a new video reflecting on the launch of Murrungar at the Melbourne Cricket Ground — an event that brought together culture, community and industry on Wurundjeri Country.

This year’s theme, All In for Reconciliation, reinforces the importance of moving beyond intent and embedding reconciliation into everyday business practice.

At A.G. Coombs, this commitment is guided by our Reconciliation Action Plan and strengthened through partnerships that create meaningful, measurable outcomes. As highlighted during National Reconciliation Week activities across our business, reconciliation is embedded in how we work with our people, partners and communities.

The launch of Murrungar represents one example of this in action.

Murrungar sources and channels building services procurement through an Indigenous-owned supply chain, turning everyday business transactions into meaningful social and economic outcomes. This approach reflects a clear opportunity for industry — to rethink procurement, strengthen supply chains and contribute to broader community impact.

The video captures a moment of shared purpose and momentum, highlighting how collaboration across industry can help advance reconciliation in practical and enduring ways.

We encourage organisations and industry leaders to watch the video, reflect on the role they can play and consider how capability partnerships can support meaningful progress.
