A.G. Coombs is a long-time supporter of The Future of HVAC Conference and in 2019 two of our leading experts will also be presenting at the event at the Hotel Grand Chancellor in Brisbane.
Two A.G. Coombs experts are presenting at this year’s conference:

Tuning building systems in the near future
Building tuning is an important part of delivering high-performing new buildings. It is also a “must have” on existing buildings when looking for significant improvements in energy efficiency, HVAC system performance and occupant satisfaction.
Tuning currently relies heavily on data collected via building management and controls systems. How will building tuning evolve as operational analytics, IoT devices and cloud computing capabilities become common practice – and the amount of information we have increases exponentially? How will this influence other aspects of building operations such as maintenance services and life-cycle asset management? John will step through the various phases of a building tuning process and identify where expected developments in technology will change the way we tune and optimise our buildings.

AIRAH overview and update on the upcoming release of DA19 HVAC&R Maintenance manual
For more than 20 years, the DA19 HVAC&R Maintenance manual has been the definitive reference guide for HVAC&R maintenance in Australia – defining what it is and why it’s performed. Outlining best management practices, DA19 defines a structured process for the development of a system of maintenance, appropriate to a specific building or application. The technical resource also discusses the roles and responsibilities of supply-chain stakeholders.
This presentation will detail the 2019 updates to DA19 HVAC&R Maintenance and how they are aligned with industry standards. It will offer insight into how maintenance activities have been categorised and are tailored for each site, based on minimum compliance and good or best practice – additionally promoting transparency in maintenance specifications and budgets.
