In the September edition of AIRAH Ecolibrium Magazine, Sean McGowan provides insights into the process of design and construction of this landmark new higher education facility.
As the mechanical services contractor A.G. Coombs played a significant role in resolving a detailed design for construction. Taking the building services lead role in the Building Information Model systems were constructed and installed taking advantage of a developed off-site fabrication methodology. This reduced site time and complexity of works, improved site safety and enhanced access for asset maintenance.
