Fire Protection Association Australia has a proud history of excellence dating back to the founding of the Association in 1960. Today the Fire Protection Industry Awards honours the founding values of the Association through the recognition of excellence and commitment within the fire protection industry.

This year Walker Fire Protection has been nominated as a finalist in for the 2024 Harry Marryatt Fire Protection Company of the Year Award. Named in honour of the Association’s founder this award recognises those companies that demonstrate an outstanding commitment to the Australian fire protection industry across a range of areas:

• Community Safety
• Ongoing Professionalisation
• Emerging Best Practice
• Innovation.

The 2024 FPA awards ceremony will take place at the Fire Australia Conference and Awards Gala Dinner on 8 May on the Gold Coast.

Established in 1894, the Walker name is one of the oldest in the Australian fire protection industry and has been part of the A.G. Coombs Group since 1990.
Walker Fire Protection provides leading specialist fire protection systems design, construction, and installation, commissioning and warranty, project management, and ongoing inspection, testing and essential safety measures management, for the full range of fire protection systems.
