Part of A.G. Coombs’ role as a leader in and advocate for the Australian building services and HVAC&R sector is the way in which our experienced people give back to the industry. We do this through involvement in various peak bodies, associations, events and educational activities for the next generation of building service specialists.
Introducing the principles of TACA to CIBSE members
CIBSE is the professional body that provides its members and the greater building industry with progressive leadership and knowledge. It promotes competence that forges new standards of excellence in design, science and engineering of the built environment.
Presented by Paul Chasteauneuf A.G. Coombs’ Technical Support Manager, the Introduction to TACA and Stairwell Pressurisation Testing seminar will provide essential information on best practice systems to help ensure that occupants can exit buildings safely and efficiently in the event of a fire or other emergency.
The seminar will cover the following:
Paul Chasteauneuf is one of Australia’s foremost experts in building services testing and commissioning. His sector-wide contributions include authoring a widely used guide on stairwell pressurisation systems and serving as Technical Chair for NEBB Australia for over a decade. He received the prestigious NEBB Australia Bruce Giles Distinguished Service Award in 2017 and is now President of the Testing and Commissioning Association (TACA) – a peak organisation that works with industry to establish relevant training and provide a quality accreditation model for those involved in engineering, installation and commissioning of HVAC&R systems.
