Lisa commenced with Walker Fire Protection as the Operations Manager – Service in 2022.

“A typical day will consist of meeting with our Contract Managers and having conversations with our National Customer Service team to ensure all maintenance is compliant, we are addressing any defects reported, and having them rectified in a timely manner.”

I work closely with our projects team to identify any assets that are coming towards the end of their life cycle to ensure we give our clients adequate notice for their Capital planning. On a normal day I speak with many technicians, assisting with things such as job information, site and compliance issues, service delivery efficiencies and any client related matters.

The most rewarding part of my role is seeing the improvements we have made to the business come to fruition. We have created an exceptional team and have a positive can do culture at Walker. This has made us an employer of choice in the Fire Industry from Sprinkler Fitters through to Contract Managers wanting to come on board.

I’m really looking forward to further improving the Service I & T part of our business. It is always challenging in such a competitive market.
