Each Christmas Eve, A.G. Coombs technicians provide on-hand technical services, including general and safety lighting services, at Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight® event, held at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne. The Bowl is also a part of the A.G. Coombs Arts Centre Melbourne maintenance contract, where we have been providing services for over 20 years.
The annual Carols by Candlelight® event usually attracts a crowd in excess of 10,000 people and well over 2 million TV viewers. This year’s event will be conducted without an audience due to government restrictions.
All proceeds raised are used to support children who are blind or have low vision to help them achieve the possibilities they choose in life.
For those in Melbourne, tune into Channel 9 on Christmas Eve for the live telecast of the Carols by Candlelight® event.
Vision Australia is a not-for-profit organisation and a major participant and partner in the international blindness community.
