Following a period of detailed industry and government consultation Australia has adopted international standards for refrigeration environmental and safety requirements.
The new ISO based documents supersede the previous AS/NZS 1677 series. Significant changes have been made with the following now published and available:
This international alignment of standards will support the Australian HVAC&R industry’s shift away from HFC refrigerants and towards low global warming refrigerant alternatives.
The new standards are available from SAI Global.
