In support of the A.G. Coombs Diversity & Inclusion Action Plan, we were delighted to host the first in an ongoing series of A.G. Coombs Leadership Academy events championing the ‘Advancement of Women’ on 25 June.
The breakfast event in Melbourne saw 120+ A.G. Coombs business leaders, team members, female graduates and apprentices, together with clients, industry partners and special guests Richmond AFLW; in a collaborative forum to share insights and reflect on the progress and opportunities to advance women in the building services industry.
Championed by A.G. Coombs Group Managing Director, Russell Telford events like this create conversations that play an important role in contributing to stronger, more inclusive and high-performing workplaces.
The inaugural ‘Advancement of Women’ A.G.Coombs Leadership Academy event featured:

- Q&A with 1st and 4th year A.G. Coombs Mechanical Plumber Apprentices, Sam Bertoni and Rainbow McIntosh.
- Q&A with Kerry Ryan, A.G. Coombs Non-Executive Board Member and Chair of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee
- Panel Discussion hosted by award winning sports journalist, Tiffany Cherry with:
