A.G. Coombs Project Engineer, Katherine Hay, has been shortlisted as a finalist for this year’s AIRAH Future Leaders Award.
For many years, the Australian Institute of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating (AIRAH) Awards have recognised excellence in the HVAC&R industry. Its Future Leaders Award recognises emerging leaders in any facet of the HVAC&R industry and is open to any individual who is a member of AIRAH and actively engaged in the HVAC&R industry.
Katherine has worked at A.G. Coombs in Queensland as a Project Engineer for three years, and became a member of the Queensland AIRAH Committee at the beginning of 2014. Nominated for the Future Leaders Award by A.G. Coombs’ Manager Major Projects Qld, Chris Deans, Katherine said of becoming a finalist, “The AIRAH Awards really represent the peak of the industry, so it is a fantastic honour to be announced as a finalist for this Award and, to be honest, it’s a bit of a surprise. There is a really high calibre of talent in the other nominees, as with previous years’ Awards, so it really means a lot to be recognised as a finalist”.
Winners of this year’s AIRAH Awards will be announced at a Presentation Dinner held in Brisbane on 27 November 2014.
A.G. Coombs congratulates Katherine on becoming a finalist and wishes her the best of luck.
Further details on this year’s AIRAH Awards can be seen on the AIRAH website.
