A.G. Coombs has had a longstanding relationship with Richmond FC for facilities maintenance of building services including air-conditioning, mechanical services and fire protection. The partnership also extends A.G. Coombs’ support for the Korin Gamadji Institute (KGI) centre for indigenous youth. A.G. Coombs also expanded its support of the KGI REAL programs, specifically as the partner of REAL Empowered, the third phase of the leadership program.
The 2020 billboard was installed at the start of August and celebrates both the ongoing alignment with Richmond FC as well as A.G. Coombs support for the KGI programs by featuring premiership star, Daniel Rioli, proudly wearing the official 2020 Dreamtime guernsey.
The Korin Gamadji Institute (KGI) is Richmond Football Club’s centre for Indigenous youth. It is a unique and innovative Indigenous centre, focused on leadership development, education and training, and career pathways for young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
The institute is an integral part of the Richmond Football Club and is located in the ME Bank Centre, at Punt Road Oval, Richmond, Victoria. It delivers a range of activity with its pathway partners, ensuring outcomes within a space that celebrates cultural pride and supports our next generation of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander leaders along their journey.
