Australia is home to thousands of properties; from office buildings to shopping centres, schools and hospitals. The ongoing management, maintenance and upkeep of these facilities is undertaken by Facility Managers.
On World FM Day 2020 the Facility Management Association of Australia launched a short video explaining the essential role that facilities managers play in keeping Australia’s built environment safe, sustainable and financially viable. The video captures the diversity of the profession and highlights some of the core competencies, including sustainability, technology, safety and operational cost control.
