Walker Fire Protection is delighted to be recognised by the National Fire Industry Association (NFIA) as the “Champion in Diversity Award” winner at the 2024 NFIA State Awards of Excellence announced in Melbourne on 21 Nov.
NFIA is a peak fire protection industry association and their “Champion in Diversity Award” recognises a fire protection company that has implemented an initiative or practice that promotes diversity and inclusion within the workplace and has positively impacted the business and employees.
“Thank you NFIA. We are passionate about embracing diversity and inclusion across all aspects of our business,” said Andrew McGregor, General Manager, Walker Fire Protection. “Winning the NFIA Champion in Diversity Award helps elevate many of the wonderful diversity and inclusion initiatives that are already embedded in our company while advancing our strong commitment to industry leadership in all aspects of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) activities.”
