Each year in September, we acknowledge and celebrate the critical role that fire protection plays in keeping our communities safe.

National Fire Protection Month marks the anniversary of the Great Fire of London in the 17^th  century and serves as a reminder of the importance of fire safety measures and ongoing efforts to prevent tragedies from occurring.

Fire Protection Association (FPA) Australia is Australia’s peak industry body for fire safety. This month it is coordinating and hosting a series of special events, including in-person and online seminars and panel-discussions across
the country.

Covering a diversity of topics from mental health and technology to lithium batteries and maintenance, each event will bring together fire safety experts and practitioners to inform and share insights and best practice.

Walker Fire Protection – part of the A.G. Coombs Group of Companies – has been a trusted provider of fire protection services for 130 years and is a proud gold member of the FPA.
