As part of our partnership with the Korin Gamadji Institute, and in line with our Reconciliation Action Plan, A.G. Coombs hosted a graduation ceremony for participants of the Richmond Emerging Aboriginal Leaders Program (REAL Program) on Thursday 13 July.
The graduation celebration was held at the A.G. Coombs Service office in Port Melbourne, with a number of guests and VIPs in attendance.
The event recognised the achievements of the Phase 2 Program graduates, and included speeches from the graduates and a traditional dance.
Shortly after the graduation celebration we unveiled the first of our Group of Companies’ plaques which acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands where each of our offices is situated.
It is a privilege to partner and stand side-by-side with KGI to create opportunities through the REAL Program for young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to grow and emerge into the next generation of leaders.Gareth Whitfield, General Manager, A.G. Coombs Servicing Pty Ltd.
