LEEDer of the Pack – A Sydney Stadium Impresses

As well as boasting a design that places sports fans closer to the action, Parramatta’s Bankwest Stadium has become the first stadium in the world to announce it has achieved LEED V4 Gold Certification.

In the Spring 2020 edition of AIRAH’s Ecolibrum magazine, Sean McGowan explores this world-leading stadium’s Mechanical and HVAC systems and how they contribute to its success.

A.G. Coombs is proud to have played a key role in the construction of the $360 million Bankwest Stadium. Working closely with Lendlease and consultants Aurecon, A.G. Coombs’ early engagement as design & construct mechanical services contractor in mid-2016 afforded the project team the opportunity to explore a range of solutions, as well as influence final architectural and structural design decisions.
