A Night of Generosity and Purpose: A.G. Coombs Supports the 2025 MITS Gala Dinner

November 12, 2025

A.G. Coombs proudly joined the Melbourne Indigenous Transition School (MITS) and a vibrant community of supporters at the 2025 MITS Gala Dinner on 23 Oct — an inspiring evening that raised an outstanding $745,458 to support educational pathways for young Indigenous students from remote and
regional communities.

This remarkable result will enable MITS to expand its programs, unlock new opportunities for current and future students, and continue its mission of creating environments where Indigenous youth can thrive.

Celebrating Partnership and Progress

As a long-standing partner of MITS, A.G. Coombs is committed to supporting initiatives that foster inclusion, education, and reconciliation.

Through our technical facility management business, Integrated Technical Management (ITM), we provide ongoing building services maintenance for several MITS properties, as well as the Richmond Football Club’s Korin Gamadji Institute — a space dedicated to Indigenous leadership
and development.

“Events like the MITS Gala Dinner remind us of the power of community, storytelling, and shared commitment,” said Terri Hosking, General Manager at Integrated Technical Management. “We’re honoured to support MITS and the incredible work they do in empowering young Indigenous Australians.”

A Night to Remember

The evening was hosted by Megan Waters, who guided guests through a program of heartfelt stories, cultural celebration, and inspiring moments.

Members of the A.G. Coombs team were honoured to attend the Gala, which featured:

  • Inspiring student speakers sharing personal journeys and aspirations
  • Vibrant cultural performances celebrating heritage and identity
  • A strong sense of community and reconciliation.

The evening was a testament to the transformative impact of education and the importance of creating pathways for Indigenous students to succeed.

A.G. Coombs congratulates MITS on another exceptional evening of generosity, storytelling and community spirit.
