This Christmas we invite you to support our client, Vision Australia, by lighting a candle on the Carols by Candlelight® website.
A.G. Coombs provides air conditioning and electrical maintenance services to Vision Australia in Victoria. Each Christmas Eve, two A.G. Coombs technicians – provide on-hand technical services, including general and safety lighting services, at Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight® event, held at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne.
The Bowl is a part of A.G. Coombs Service’s Arts Centre maintenance contract, where we have been providing air conditioning and mechanical services for over 17 years, and also provide general and safety lighting services.
The annual Carols by Candlelight® event attracts a crowd of over 10,000 people. All proceeds raised are used to support children who are blind, or have low vision, with accessing and participating in every part of life they choose.
By lighting a virtual candle on the website, you can donate to this great cause. Visit Vision Australia’s Light a Candle website page for further information. And for those in Melbourne, tune into Channel 9 on Christmas Eve for the live telecast of the Carols by Candlelight® event.
Vision Australia is a not-for-profit organisation and a major participant and partner in the international blindness community. A leading national provider of blindness and low vision services in Australia, they provide services and support for clients through 28 Vision Australia centres in NSW, ACT, Queensland and Victoria. Clinics are also held in 29 other locations and there are outreach services to the Northern Territory and Tasmania.
