As A.G. Coombs reaches its 80th anniversary, the company is marking the milestone with recognition of the thousands of people who have shaped its journey from a startup in a Melbourne garage in 1945 to Australia’s leading building services specialists.

“When we look back over 80 years, what stands out isn’t just the buildings we’ve worked on or the technology we’ve implemented,” says

Eight decades, countless stories
As part of the anniversary, A.G. Coombs is bringing-up-to-date its 70th year history book, A Singular Vision, with additional chapters and new stories that capture the significant developments of the past decade.
The new publication will continue the company’s tradition of documenting not just corporate milestones, but the human stories that define its character.
Due for release at the end of 2025, the 80 year book is an investment in preserving the knowledge, values and experiences that will help guide future generations of A.G. Coombs people as they build on eight decades of shared achievement.
To commemorate this milestone an 80-year anniversary mark has been designed as a contemporary icon, with a clean, geometric style. The mark balances strength and openness. Its foundational structure represents eight decades of solid expertise and dependability, and its modern styling acknowledges A.G. Coombs’ continued innovation and collaborative approach to solving complex challenges.
