Project Scope
The project was completed in four (4) phases:-
- Central Plant upgrade
- Low Rise air distribution replacement
- Media Rise air distribution replacement
- High Rise air distribution replacement
The Central Plant upgrade involved the removal of the co-generation system and installation of new chilled water central plant whilst maintaining comfort conditioning to the building.
The high pressure dual duct air handling systems were progressively converted to new twin duct configurations. The conversions involved the extensive modification to the air handling systems as well as the implementation of new control strategies.
Upgrade of the floor air distribution involved the replacement of the dual duct air distribution systems with new twin boxes and light air distribution fittings.
With the floor upgrades including a large number of integrated tenancy fit-outs, phased commissioning of the systems was required and special measures to ensure control of comfort, indoor air quality and noise within the occupied floors.
The final stage of the project has now been commenced with the replacement of the cooling towers by closed circuit fluid controllers.
