A.G. Coombs raises bar in safety excellence through industry certification

Today, A.G. Coombs achieved two key milestones in safety compliance - certification to SafetyMAP Advanced and certification to Australian Standard AS4801:2001.
A.G. Coombs’ OH&S system has retained SafetyMAP certification since September 2000; a reflection of its ongoing, long-term commitment to ensuring the safety of its people.
SafetyMAP (Safety Management Achievement Program) is a leading safety management system established by WorkSafe in Victoria. Australian Standard AS4801:2001 – Occupational health and safety management systems – is broadly throughout Australia.
These recognised standards are embedded across all of A.G. Coombs’ systems and procedures, demonstrating the Group’s ongoing commitment and industry leadership in safety. The Group’s objective is to be incident and injury free wherever the business has a presence.
A.G. Coombs is currently the only company in the Victorian construction and property sector to achieve SafetyMAP Advanced status, and nationally one of the few organisations that is certified to AS4801:2001.
