100 Pacific Highway achieves 5 Star NABERS Energy Rating

100 Pacific Highway has become the latest major office tower in North Sydney to achieve a 5 Star NABERS rating.
A.G. Coombs’ Building Energy Optimisation Program (BEOP*) experts were enlisted by building owners ISPT to help achieve this significant environmental target.
Following an initial audit and a detailed review of the building operations, A.G. Coombs worked with ISPT Super Property to develop and implement a program of initiatives for the building dynamics as a whole. The program had a specific focus on control strategies and the refinement of the existing systems, and reached an initial target of 4.5 Stars.
As appointed maintenance contractor, A.G. Coombs has continued to ensure retained ongoing building energy efficiency through the sophisticated program of building systems tuning and ongoing energy efficiency maintenance strategies, which has taken the building to 5 Stars.
100 Pacific Highway is just one of a number of buildings in the ISPT Super Core Fund Property portfolio with which A.G. Coombs is assisting with optimising energy performance. This latest outcome again demonstrates how ongoing building energy optimisation can deliver significant improvement by ensuring existing buildings and their energy systems are working properly at a relatively low investment.
